Muscular conditions

Musculoskeletal conditions, including repetitive strain injury (RSI)

Struggling with RSI?

We can offer advice to help you prevent muscular disorders at work, and manage conditions like repetitive strain injury, which can be a painful and disabling condition. This is mainly associated with typing at the computer, but can also be triggered by tasks including chopping vegetables, holding a mobile phone, watching TV or carrying heavy school bags. Ask your HR department for a referral to us and we can discuss managing your condition, using the latest equipment and massage techniques.

Your HR department can call us today on 020 7377 7259.

Health tips

  • If you have severe RSI, which is affecting your ability to type and use a computer, we can recommend speech-recognition software that will allow you to use your voice to control your computer and phone.
  • If you’re tapping away at the computer, take regular ‘stretching’ breaks to help you avoid RSI and eye strain. We suggest taking a 5-10 minute break every hour. If you don’t trust yourself to walk away, install break reminder software that forces you to stop what you’re doing by blocking the screen at set intervals.
